This is a local pub, very cozy but a little intimidating. We sat near the fire but there are many little nooks, a couch area and then the bar to cozy up to.
The lady bartenders/wait staff are not too friendly. We weren't part of their regular crowd I guess.

We each had a drink and a meal. The sausages, root veggies and Yorkshire pudding were perfectly done. It is a dish that hits the spot when you're looking for comfort food. We also ordered the fish and chips which was your average plate. Nothing special, the batter a bit plain. Beware of bones!

When trying to find the name and doing a search on yelp, The Grosvenor does not come up as being a pub near where we are currently staying. We only knew about it by recommendation. Walking by you would certainly miss it as the front is hidden behind wood screens. I still recommend you find this place. It's a quintessential stop for a pint.

A bit over hyped for afternoon tea, average range of tea, sweets were good, savoury were just ok. Scone was good but the homemade jams were bit bitter for my taste

Great fish and chips! Lovely little place out of the way from the big foot traffic of central London. Would definitely come here again!

Just an average pub, there isn't anything special about it. However, good place to hang out with friends. There are places to sit outside, so I am guessing in the summer might be a nice place to sit out for a beer. The beer selection is a bit restrictive compared to other pubs in London but we were able to get some nice pints here. 4 pints = 19.50 GBP.
